Before your visit

Medical Guide

General educational information to help you prepare for a visit. It does not replace consultation or direct assessment by a specialist.

Dentistry

When do you need a dental exam?

Regular exams help identify tooth decay and gum concerns early, and help the dentist review medical history and decide whether X-rays or cleaning are needed.

  • See a dentist for persistent pain, bleeding gums, a broken tooth or bothersome sensitivity.
  • Tell the dentist about chronic conditions or medications before treatment.
Skin & Aesthetics

Why does aesthetic care start with assessment?

Skin type, medications, allergies, irritation and pigmentation can all change the right plan, so care starts with assessment rather than the procedure name alone.

  • Do not start strong treatment creams before the visit without telling the specialist.
  • Mention pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies or previous aesthetic procedures.
Before the Visit

Before Your Laser Visit

  1. Avoid removing hair from the roots before the appointment; use shaving only when needed.
  2. Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning before and after the session according to specialist instructions.
  3. Tell the specialist about any medications, treatment creams or skin sensitivity.
  4. Arrive with clean skin and no perfume or creams on the target area.
  5. Do not proceed on irritated or sunburned skin unless assessed by the specialist.
  6. Follow aftercare and moisturization instructions, and contact the clinic if unusual irritation appears.
General & Urgent Care

When should you not wait?

Chest pain or pressure, severe shortness of breath, fainting, sudden confusion or severe dehydration signs need urgent assessment.

  • In dangerous situations, call emergency services or go to urgent care immediately.
